Tallow is rendered beef fat used in skincare for centuries. It closely mimics the natural lipids in human skin, making it easily absorbed and highly compatible. While tallow has a natural, earthy scent, our meticulous rendering process reduces the “beefy smell”. We blend our tallow with high-quality herbal-infused oils and therapeutic-grade essential oils to create a subtle, pleasant fragrance. In fact some think that our whipped tallow balms have a sweet spa-like fragrance.

We source our suet from McIntyre Pastures, a USDA-certified, organic, grass-fed farm in Caldwell, Idaho. Their cattle are raised without GMOs, soy, hormones, antibiotics, or mRNA vaccines, and the suet is carefully selected for quality and nutrient density.

Natural ingredients and handmade processes can cause slight variations in color, scent, and texture. Factors such as season, diet, and environmental conditions affect each batch. These variations are normal and demonstrate the authenticity of our products.

Currently, we only ship within the continental United States.

Yes, our products are formulated to be gentle and nourishing. However, if you have sensitive skin, perform a patch test first to ensure compatibility. Should you have any irritation or sensitivity, stop using immediately and contact your medical provider.
